PAN Performance at the Parr Hall 2026

PAN Performance
On Tuesday evening, we had the privilege of attending the Primary Arts Network performance at the Parr Hall. Around 20 children from Burtonwood took part, providing us with a spellbinding performance that represented the quote, “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.” This performance gave a nod to Burtonwood’s unique position as an air base during World War 2, exploring the drama and devastation that war often brings.
This was part of the larger PAN exhibition that children from across the school contributed to, work that you can see displayed in Golden Square in Warrington. The exhibit is open until the 21st April, and it is well worth a visit as schools from across the borough display their ideas.
Over the past few weeks, the children have been working incredibly hard during rehearsals to prepare for this performance under the guidance of Mrs Hughes. Throughout the process they showed fantastic commitment and enthusiasm, developing their confidence, creativity and teamwork along the way. Their final performance was both powerful and moving, and it was wonderful to see all their hard work come together on stage during such a special event.
I would like to thank Mrs Hughes on behalf of the school and the children for her choreography, dedication and direction throughout the rehearsals.
We are extremely proud of all the children involved. They represented our school beautifully and should be very proud of their achievement.
