Year 6 Schools Football Tournament

Through our partnership with Freedom Football, we have been able to offer our children a range of opportunities to visit established Premier League football clubs, and to take part in different tournaments.

Over the last two weeks, it has been the turn of Year 4, who visited the Liverpool FC training facility, and Year 6, who had the opportunity to play against other schools at Manchester City FC.

Well done to our Year 6 team who took part in the fantastic Football Festival at Manchester City. The team were invited to compete against several other schools from across Manchester, giving them a brilliant opportunity to play in a competitive and exciting environment.

After a series of great performances, the team progressed through their matches and went on to win their bracket final, which is an excellent achievement. The boys showed great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day.  They thoroughly enjoyed the experience while representing the school so well. It was a fantastic opportunity for them and one they will no doubt remember.
