Year 3 - Autumnal Art

Year 3 took their art learning outdoors, using nature as inspiration for their creative work.

The children explored the shapes, patterns and textures found in autumn leaves, taking time to look closely at the details and examine the natural objects around them. They used their sense of touch as well as their observation skills to discover the different textures, shapes and forms of the leaves. This hands-on experience helped children translate what they saw and felt into their drawings, creating richer and more observational artwork.

It was a lovely opportunity to take inspiration from the world around us and see how nature can influence our creativity. Well done, Year 3!
