Willow Wood Update
Over the last few weeks, and with the fantastic help of Year 6, we have been able to create a clearing within our forest and erect a shelter that will allow lessons to take place in all weathers. This is the first stage in our work to improve access and the facilities within the Forest School. The gazebo shelter was completely funded by monies raised through PTFA events, and we are incredibly grateful for this support.
The next phase we hope to complete will be a pond area with secure fencing, which will allow the children the opportunity to explore the exciting wildlife that we have within our school environment. Over the coming months, we may well reach out to parents for support in developing this area, and any help you can offer will be very much appreciated. You can also support our project by voting for us through the Tesco Community Grants detailed below.
A huge thank you to Mr. Lea, Mr. Johnson and the rest of the Omega MAT sites team for their help in constructing the shelter.
