Easter Bonnet Parade 2026

Our annual Easter Bonnet Parade for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 was a wonderful celebration of creativity and springtime fun. The Easter Bonnet Parade is a lovely tradition where children design and create their own bonnets with the help of parents and carers. It is a fantastic opportunity for families to get creative together, using a mix of materials to make a unique bonnet to celebrate Easter.

Due to the lovely weather, we did things a little differently this year and held the event on the school playground. Parents and carers were invited to join us as the children proudly walked along a catwalk-style path, showing off their amazing bonnet designs.

The bonnets ranged from floral designs to imaginative themes, and it was clear that a lot of thought and effort had gone into each one. It’s always a lovely event, and we love seeing the children’s excitement as they show off their brilliant bonnets.

A huge thank you to all parents, carers and staff who help make our Easter celebrations so memorable. Your continued support makes these moments special for the children at Burtonwood Community Primary School.
