Year 5 Enjoy Morning of Football at Liverpool Academy

Our Year 5 pupils enjoyed yet another fantastic morning of football as they took part in another tournament organised by Freedom Football, this time held at Liverpool Academy. Following their recent tournament experience, the children were excited to compete again and showcase their skills at a new venue.

They competed against eight other Warrington schools and played a total of five matches during the event. One match was played as a friendly, giving the children a chance to warm up and practise their skills, followed by four competitive games.

Throughout the tournament, the team worked hard, supported one another and showed determination in every match. Their effort and positive attitude were clear to see, and they never gave up.

The morning ended on a high as Year 5 took part in the Liverpool Club Championships final and were crowned winners. It was a brilliant achievement and a great reward for their teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship.

A big thank you again to Pete and the team at Freedom Football for organising such a great event and for continuing to support our pupils through their coaching. It was a great morning of football, and our Year 5 pupils should be very proud of their achievement.

Well done, Year 5!
