Spring After‑School Clubs in Full Swing

This half‑term, our after‑school clubs have been busier than ever, offering children a great mix of creativity, teamwork, new skills and outdoor learning. It has been fantastic to see so many pupils getting involved and enjoying different experiences across school.

PAN Club

Children have been taking part in an after school PAN club led by Mrs Hughes, where they have been preparing for an exciting upcoming performance. The piece combines elements of drama, music and dance and is lyrical in style, focusing on the chilling realities of war. Throughout the rehearsals, the children have grown in confidence and developed their understanding of how movement can be used to tell a powerful story. We hope that many parents will be able to join us at the Parr Hall in March to celebrate and support the children’s performance.

Board Game Club

Board Game Club has been full of laughter, concentration and friendly competition. Children have enjoyed exploring a wide range of games that encourage problem‑solving, communication and turn‑taking. New friendships have formed as pupils work together and develop new strategies.

Judo Club

Our Judo Club continues to be a popular choice. Children have been practising fundamental moves, balance and co-ordination, while embracing the important values of discipline and respect. Their focus and determination each week have been fantastic to see.

Eco Gardeners Club

The Eco Gardeners have rolled up their sleeves. Despite the winter chill, the children have been out in the garden preparing soil, weeding beds and getting everything ready for the planting season. Their teamwork and enthusiasm have already made a big difference.

Football Club

Our Football Club has been going strong this half‑term. Children have been practising their passing, dribbling and teamwork skills, developing both their confidence and fitness. The sessions have been energetic and fun.

Art Club

Pupils have been expressing their creativity through a variety of projects, exploring different colours, materials and techniques. It has been wonderful to see their imagination flourish each week.

We are proud of all the children who take part in our after-school clubs. Their commitment, creativity and positive attitudes make these sessions such a joy to run.

A huge thank you to all staff who lead the clubs and to parents for your continued support.
