After-School Gardening Club Update - 12th June

The Gardening Club had a very productive session this week.

There was lots going on — the children began with some much-needed weeding to keep the beds looking tidy and healthy. It was lovely to see how much patience and teamwork they showed while erecting the brand-new greenhouse and installing a bird feeder. Both will make fantastic additions to the garden and help support local wildlife and plant growth.

They also planted hanging pots with beautiful lobelia, adding a cheerful splash of colour to the area. The session ended with a thorough tidy-up, leaving everything neat and ready for the next stage of planting.

Well done to everyone involved — their hard work and team spirit are really helping the garden bloom!
