Colour Run and Summer Event

What a fantastic afternoon we had at our PTFA Colour Run and Summer Event on Friday!

The fun began with our Bubble Run, where the children ran through a cloud of bubbles before making their way around the course. This was followed by the Colour Run, with each year group taking their turn around the course. The children had an amazing time running in, through and over obstacles while being cheered on by teachers throwing colourful powder.

Alongside the Colour Run, there were a variety of games stalls, bouncy castles and refreshments. The children were excited to welcome one of our police officer parents, who kindly brought along a police van for the children to explore. There was also a visit from the ice cream van, as well as Mummy's Magical Bakery, whose delicious cakes and sweet treats were enjoyed by many.

A huge thank you to Mrs Steven and our PTFA for organising such a fantastic event, and to all of the volunteers, staff and families who helped make the afternoon such a great success. Your continued support is greatly appreciated and helps provide extra opportunities and resources for our children.

The children also collected sponsorship money as part of the event, alongside the fantastic fundraising activities that took place on the day. We are delighted to announce that the grand total raised from the whole event was an amazing £2,154.41!

This incredible amount includes sponsorship money, as well as funds raised through stalls and other activities. A huge thank you to all of our families, friends and members of the school community for their generosity and support. Your contributions helped make the event such a great success.

Well done to all the children for their enthusiasm, effort and commitment in helping to raise such a fantastic amount.
