Year 6 Art
Year 6 have been exploring their memories of primary school through a creative art project inspired by the work of Louise Nevelson.
Using a range of materials, including recycled and found objects, the children transformed personal experiences into abstract relief sculptures. They considered how shapes, textures, and composition can represent emotions and important moments, experimenting with layering and arrangement to create depth in their work.
It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they embraced abstraction and developed their artistic voice. Mrs Hughes was impressed by their creativity and the meaningful stories captured in their sculptures.
