Year 2 have been learning about symmetry in their maths lessons. The children explored what symmetry means and how pictures can be the same on both sides.

They worked on Christmas-themed pictures, drawing the missing half to complete each image. This helped them understand how both sides need to match. Once finished, the children cut out their pictures and checked their work.

The children enjoyed the activity and were proud of what they achieved. It was a fun and practical way to learn about symmetry, bringing a bit of Christmas magic to their maths lesson.
